BillieJo

A native Mid-Westerner, raised in rural Wisconsin,  this
no-nonsense pioneer spirit transplanted herself in New England, and
claimed her stake — a life of making art.  For her, making art is
about being brave enough to be true in an world where truth is not
always rewarded.  With stained-glass as a medium, her work is
insistent and unapologetic.  Her art, like the glass she shapes,
reflects her world view.

For BillieJo, inspiration presents itself in a vast array of
disguises; now dressed in one of her daughter's crayon sketches; then
wrapped in a photograph of one held dear; at other times it comes
masquerading as some matter of fact that will no longer be taken for
granted.  However her inspiration comes disguised, she works her will
on the medium until that inspiration becomes the rainbow-mirror image
of its true self.

What you appreciate in BillieJo's art is a reflection of what's true in you.
